Eschatology – The Most Important Sign of the End

You may have noticed that lately a lot of people are jabbering on about this being the ‘end times’, when either God will rain down punishment on this world, or the ‘Illuminati’ will achieve their final takeover of human society.  Of course, this is nothing new in itself.  People have been making such claims throughout history.  All it takes is a change in the zeitgeist to send people scurrying about, crying out that the sky is falling.  However… .

However, something big is definitely in the offing.  The world is realigning itself, and big change is in the air.  The question is whether it actually is the end of times, or just another massive global conflict that is coming our way.  If it is a massive global conflict it might just end up being the end of times, though not in the way eschatologists are expecting.  We might just blow ourselves up, no god intervening.

To be honest, I don’t believe that we will inadvertently blow ourselves up.  We’ve got bigger bombs that do more damage than nukes, without the fallout.  Areas might get wiped out, or radiated, but not the whole planet, and not to the extent that life becomes impossible above ground.  Massive damage there will be, yes, but a man-made apocalypse there won’t.

So that leaves an apocalypse as an act of God.  I am pretty sure that one day God will get fed up, and stand up, and take some sort of definitive action.  The question is when?

Well, for many years now, I have held to the belief that the key lies in the fall of Jerusalem.  Luke 21:20 prophesies: “When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near” (NIV).  Many people will argue that this already happened two thousand years ago.  There are, however, other passages that reinforce the notion that this also applies to something that has yet to come.  Please don’t make me root around in my bible searching for all of those passages, because I am really bad at that.  I digest passages; I don’t memorize them.  So, when it comes to finding them again, it takes more effort than this post is worth.

I want to make a short digression here, and hope bible-thumpers will look it up and mull it over.  It is in Genesis, in the story of Cain and Abel.  Take a look at how Cain’s punishment for murdering Abel was to become a life-long wanderer.  Now look at the New Testament.  The Jews set Jesus up to be killed, and end up as global wanderers.  Just something that popped out at me recently… .

Anyway,to get back to the topic at hand.  The key to the modern apocalypse, as far as I am concerned, lies in the fall of Jerusalem.  We have a warning that when peace breaks out in the area, then the end will come.  Until that peace happens, I am not prepared to believe the end is, indeed, imminent.

Now how the hell is that supposed to happen?  The prospect of peace in the Middle East is as distant now as it was 40 years ago, if not more so.  In today’s political climate, it would take a bleeding miracle for some sort of solid peace deal to be hammered out, with all sides being willing to show some flexibility.  Unless… .  Unless some sort of a double-cross is enacted.  Or maybe a triple-cross, or even quadruple-cross.  Here’s what I envision, though I may be wrong in the details:

As we know, Israel and Saudi Arabia are bosom-buddies.  No need to get into the details as to how, or why, they have formed this unlikely allegiance.  They have mutually beneficial interests, and that is all it takes.  So, perhaps a deal is brokered and accepted; maybe the Saudis even use some of their influence to bring it about.  On the surface it all seems like a major breakthrough; the Saudis give it their blessing, the Israelis give it their blessing, the Palestinians give it their blessing.  Everyone is happy.  Or are they?  Suddenly the Arab world unites and takes Israel down in a pre-orchestrated and well-planned lightening-fast strike, and none of Israel’s allies come to their assistance.

In effect, Israel’s plans for a ‘Greater Israel’ ends up blowing up in their faces.

When I see this happening, then I will know we are really in the end of times.

Something Disturbing About the Composition of the Far-/Alt-Right

There is something disturbing going on with the far-/alt-right these days, and it isn’t something that I feel bodes well for the future of either the left or the right ends of the political spectrum.  Yes, I know the far-/alt-right is already disturbing enough on its own, but this new trend seems to run completely contrary to the tenets of common sense.  In its essence, it is actually very similar to the KKK suddenly deciding to accept blacks, Jews, and homosexuals .  The reality, I am afraid, may be something a lot  darker.

On the surface, it would appear that the far-/alt-right is loosening up, and becoming more accepting of Jews, homosexuals, and other groups that traditionally shy away from the hostile rhetoric that the right is known for.  The question is if hard-line conservatism really is attempting to change it’s core belief system to fit the current era.  Maybe what this really is, is just some sort of marriage of convenience?  Another possibility is that the far-/alt-right is only using these people just useful idiots, or that the newcomers are possibly operating according to their own agenda, and are turning the far-/alt-right into their own useful idiots.

We need to add to the mix above a small, but significant, number of new converts that are former ‘liberals’ who, out of a professed disgust at the way political correctness has spun out of control, claim only to be lending their strength to the right for the purpose of fighting the Social Justice Warrior/political correctness scourge.  These individuals are probably the most light-weight of all of the newcomers, primarily because their egos completely outstrip their intellect.  They enjoy the limelight of being lionized by the right as great minds who saw the light and switched sides.

They haven’t.  They’re just taking advantage of what they perceive to be the gullible idiots of the far-/alt-right.

That said, what the collective right now appears to perceive itself as is a coalition of diverse groups, united for one specific purpose, and one purpose only.  Sadly that purpose has increasingly become the rooting out ‘the enemy within’.  This time around, ‘the enemy within’ are Muslims.  Oh, and women who don’t know their place, and don’t want to breed until their uteruses shrivel and dry up.

There.  I have said it.  I have addressed the elephant that is clunking about in the far-/alt-right room.  Far-/alt-righters will howl and pitch a fit, claiming that what I have said is a lie, a distortion!  Or that I am a Muslim-loving leftard.  They would flame the shit out of me, if I allowed comments – but I don’t because I don’t have the time for that bullshit.  Some might even go so far as to dox me as an act of revenge.

I other words, they would stoop to the lowest of lows simply because I spoke the truth: the far-/alt-right is obsessed with painting all Muslims as dangerous, and that they hate independent women as much as fundamentalist Islamic preachers do.

I will now go on the record: I am as angry over what hoards of Islamic immigration into Europe and North America has done as anyone who is not blind to the rapes, terror, and murders that it is bringing with it.  However, I also take into account that this latest wave is the result of very specific political conditions, and global agendas.  Over the years I have had the chance to get to know, to work with, and made friends with plenty of Muslim immigrants who posed no threat whatsoever.  Some wore the hijab, some dressed and acted in exactly the same way as anyone else in the west does, and some dressed western-style on some days, traditionally on other days.  I even acted as a travel agent to one North African man who was pissed as all hell because he suspected his brother was up to no good in Algeria.  In other words, I don’t blame one Muslim for the actions of another Muslim, and I do not get indignant at the sight of a woman wearing a hijab.  Sometimes, I might get pissed to see one after a terrorist attack, but I quickly calm down again.  I would never insult a woman for wearing one, nor would I try to rip it off of her head.  I don’t see the hijab as a ‘statement’ unless it is on the head of some dumb bitch who is participating in a ‘slut-walk’ with her boobs swinging in the breeze.  I am more offended by women who participate in slut-walks than I am by women in hijabs.

Now, to the point.  The far-/alt-right is problematic enough on its own.  There is no denying that.  It’s nature is a stifling conservatism that punishes people for things they have no control over.  There is no empathy on the right, and thus, no sympathy.  As a woman, I find their attitude towards women to be backward, and well-suited to men with small dicks wanting to be men with big dicks.  Control the woman, and she won’t know what a truly little man you are.  The far-/alt-right has a weakness for xenophobia.  Please note that, when I say xenophobia, I mean xenophobia.  I am not talking about justifiable concerns regarding mass-immigration.  The right is quick to reject anyone who is not exactly like them, and to see ‘outsiders’ as threats to everything from security to the family unit.

So, what we had to start with was a political/social grouping with plenty of weaknesses that could be infiltrated and exploited towards specific ends, such as, let’s say, ending Muslim immigration.  Now, who would be most interested in doing that?  Who hates Muslims enough to incite hapless idiots against them?  Or should I say, ‘who sees their grip on the balls of the collective west as being threatened by another powerful group?’

Is it coincidence that the loudest voices on the far-/alt-right are owned by Jewish individuals, or by people who have Jewish connections through marriage, for example?  Much of the conservative religious right is staunchly pro-Israel, and practically frothing at the mouth when it comes to hatred of Muslims.  Methinks someone is playing with their heads, and that there is a connection between that and the increased number of Jewish-owned far-/alt-right news and information websites and YouTube channels.

Who else has reason to hate Muslims?  Ahhh, yes, members of the gay community.  Muslims don’t like gays very much, now do they?  Surprise, surprise!  The biggest gay pundits to have come out on the side of the far-/alt-right are also rabidly anti-Muslim.

Do you see a pattern developing here?  Oh, and those ‘classical liberals’ who joined the fray on the side of the far-/alt-right?  Most of them are either gay or Jewish.

What I see shaping up here is something that I do not like, and I believe that other people have noticed it too.  The far-/alt-right is being cleverly (or so they think) packaged as the ‘answer’ to the rising migrant crisis, and the heroes of the war against the totally flaked-out left.  My answer is that the far-/alt-right is being used as the hammer that will force in a very ugly form of government, where women are basically used as breeders, racial purity is pushed as the ideal, and the ‘enemy within’, whomever it happens to be today, is rooted out an destroyed.

Yes, I know what I am describing sounds like.  I will be accused of hyperbole, of saying the same things as out-of-their-minds social justice warriors are shrieking, but a fact is a fact.  The fact is, the far-/alt-right is getting pretty ugly, and showing itself to be a mirror image of the lunatic left in the wake of the French presidential elections, where it suffered its first major disappointment.  A mirror image is identical, for those who don’t understand the terminology, except that the left is on the right, and the right is on the left.  What this means is that radicals are being given a choice between a corvette and an SUV.  If you prefer the SUV, step to the right.  If you prefer the corvette, step to the left.  You’re both going to the same place, it is just the style of how you get there that is different.

In a final remark I am going to point out that voting for a government, or supporting a group that offers a convenient solution to a big problem – but at the cost of losing certain freedoms – is the most idiotic thing a person can do.   Freedoms are too hard won to be given up because we are shitting our pants in fear, and need a strongman (or strongwoman) to make it all go away.  Give in to the lunatic left, and we lose freedom of speech, as well as a society where there is such a thing as truth.  Give in to the right, and women become possessions of their husbands, members of other races lose their sense of being part of our society, and homosexuals are back to cover-marriages, and ‘praying the gay away’.  Meanwhile, in both scenarios, the elite will be fucking each others’ wives, diddling little boys and girls, and basically just carrying on as they have since time began.

Politics is a broken system, and it can’t be fixed.  So why the hell are people still putting their faith and their energy into it?

Eschatology – Is the Sky Really Falling?

I have just had a really good laugh, which unfortunately means that this post is going to go off-track right from the get-go.  I had meant to discuss biblical eschatology, and a very important sign of the end of times/coming of the apocalypse which has yet to be fulfilled.  Instead, I am going to deal with the Chicken Little ‘sky is falling’ fallout from yesterday’s French elections.  The far-right conspiratorial community is now running around in an advanced state of hysteria because it has mistaken the Louvre for an ‘Illuminati pyramid’.

Yes, you read correctly.  The Louvre figures prominently in a post-election image of Emmanuel Macron, and the lunatic right-wing are having a tizzy-fit over it.  They now claim it as proof positive of Macron’s satanist leanings.  Have a look at the tweet below: jjones saten

If you are not pissing yourself laughing over the sheer ludicrousness of it, then, my friend, there is something wrong with you.  This is hilarious.  It highlights just how terrified the right wing has become as a result of its own propaganda.  It is now hiding under the bed, fearful that the dust-bunnies might actually be Islamic terrorists coming to get it.

Spurious rumors have been circulated about the Louvre, and it’s architect, I.M. Pei, almost from the moment the building was commissioned.  Its odd composition and structure, which contrasts greatly with surrounding buildings, has proved irresistible to conspiracy theorists.  So, yes, the notion that the Louvre is a secret Illuminati project is a dearly cherished belief in conspiracy-theory circles.

However, the Louvre is also the second-most famous landmark in Paris, and, unlike the Eiffel Tower, it is synonymous with French culture at its finest.  I am, admittedly, not aware of what the exact purpose of holding his victory speech in front of the Louvre, if it is a tradition, or if it was a choice made as a symbol of a French culture that includes traditional and modern elements – the modern being the unorthodox architecture of  I.M. Pei.  My expertise in French culture does not reach that far, despite my familial and providential/cultural connections to France.

Looking at it from a different angle, Macron could also have staged his victory speech at the Eiffel Tower, or have made it in front of a canvas backdrop imprinted with an image of a baguette and chunk of Brie.  Or, maybe even pop on a beret.  All scream ‘France’, but not all have class.  The conspiracy theorists would, no doubt, have found secret satanic meanings in all of those symbols.  The Eiffel Tower?  It would represent a penis, and thus satanic sex rituals involving raping and murdering children.  Baguette and brie? Coded symbols of an Illuminati pedophilia ring.  A beret?  Admission of secret UFO bases in France.

Anyone determined to find hidden meanings in mundane imagery will find hidden meanings in mundane imagery.  You have to ask yourself where do these people draw the line?  Thousands of tourists take selfies in front of the Louvre every month.  Are all of these people trying to send secret messages to the world that they are closet satanists?

When the chips are down, though, this latest stupidity really takes the cake.  Why?  Because I honestly believe that the person who started this nonsense really was completely clueless that the ‘Illuminati pyramid’ in the publicity photo was, in fact, the Louvre, and that it was taken during Macron’s victory speech.  That, or they intentionally wanted to start what used to be called a ‘Satanic Panic’.  Then Jones picked it up, and still blissfully unaware of what the Louvre looks like, passed it on to his rabid, sensationalist seeking anti-new world order hungry followers. In the end, they all just wound up looking like completely ignorant cretins who didn’t recognize an international landmark like the Louvre.

It is so ridiculous, it is absolutely pathetic.  These people are consumed with terror and hatred to the extent that their immediate reaction upon being confronted with anything they don’t immediately recognize – that is, anything found outside of the US or UK – is to shriek in fear and brand it satanic.

The truth, my friends, is that these people, the far- and alt-right, are horrendous cowards.  They believe the word is about to be taken over by Satan and his minions, and the only way to protect themselves is through purchasing water filters and pills that enhance the male libido.  They have also scared themselves silly over the issue of Islamic encroachment on Europe and North America.  Their terror, as well as their rabid need to export US-styled hard-right conservatism to other countries in order to feel safe at home, has clearly driven them almost completely over the edge.  Their vitriolic attack on anyone who doesn’t agree with them, including the French who do not want anything to do with US-style politics, is ample proof of the fact.

It is also proof of their utter ignorance when it comes to the history and culture of other countries.  The French created the Foreign Legion, which still exists today.  After their country fell to the Germans, they regrouped in the south and formed Vichy.  Their resistance was one of the toughest and bravest of WWII.  The French are not the cowards in this picture.  They know Islam better than most nations do.  They know the problem is complex for a number of reasons that are unknown to the US-led hysterical right.

Algeria is former French colony.  When the French pulled out, they did what would be unthinkable to the far-right in the US and UK: they brought the Algerians who collaborated with their regime back to France with them.  This was the correct thing to do, since these people had helped them, but now faced death and retribution at the hands of their country for having done so.  Sadly, the children of these Algerians have not been accepted fully into French culture, and as a result, riots and violence has been breaking out periodically for decades.

Thus France has two problems: resolving the issue with the Algerians who cannot go home as a result of helping the French, and the more recent influx of undocumented refugees.  It is no wonder that Macron described the situation as mind-boggling.  France, however, chose to take a path that searches for solutions beyond simply expelling everyone who is not French, or whose religion is Islam.  Mind-boggling does not mean insoluble.  It simply means that it is going to take a hell of a lot work.  But, working it through is better than locking your borders and becoming backwater, because that is what happens when you do lock your borders.  You suffer economically, and you cease to be a player on the world stage, which is something the French will never allow to happen.

Yes, to the insane far- and alt-right, we are in a dangerous time.  Many religions and cultures believe it is the time of the end.  However, scaring yourselves to the point where you need adult diapers just to get through the day is not an indication of strength.  It is an indication of cowardice.  If the world is going to end, then at least make it an end that is worth a song.  Pissing your pants and shrieking in terror about the Louvre being an ‘Illuminati pyramid’ is definitely not worth a song.
